A modern living room featuring a large white leather sectional sofa positioned in the center. Behind the sofa, there is a sleek fireplace with a mounted TV above it.

Tucked into the historic La Costa Omni Golf Resort, this refined bachelor’s retreat channels the glamour of Old Hollywood with a contemporary edge. Designed for a successful Midwestern entrepreneur, the remodel elevates a longtime getaway into a tailored and artful escape. Reclaimed wide-plank teak from Indoteak grounds the interiors in a dramatic herringbone pattern, complemented by exotic hardwood millwork sourced from Hawaii and beyond. Collaborations with Minotti, Holly Hunt, and lighting artisans at Pagani yield an interior rich in texture and precision, with custom mica chandeliers casting a warm, elegant glow. The primary suite features Rimadesio sliding doors, Pianca closets, and commissioned artwork by architect-artist Fred Gemmell—each element reinforcing the home’s curated, luxurious character. The result is a space that’s both deeply personal and unapologetically polished.
